WALK to the Moon and Back

Starting with the “New Moon” on the 1st of April, you can walk virtually from wherever you are.  Whether you decide to do walk the same number of steps or distance each day consistently for two months or to do more walking on some days of the week than others – it’s totally up to you!

Getting outside is so good for our physical and mental well-being so we hope that WALKING “to the moon and back” will help you too!  Why not buddy up with a friend, colleague or get some of the family to join you and support each other along the way – it’s good to walk and talk!

We are actively encouraging fundraising and ask you to raise £120 or more for Cransley Hospice Trust which is the average cost of a nurse’s day shift.   Anyone that raises £120 or over will receive a pair of FANCY Cransley Hospice Trust fun laces!

We’ll help YOU with your fundraising!  Once you have registered you will receive a welcome pack with a downloadable sponsorship form and digital postcards for you to post onto your social media as you reach the milestones along your mission.  These will help you to share with your friends and followers what you are doing to support Cransley Hospice Trust, why you are doing it and how you are getting on along until you’ve completed the 238855 steps to the moon and 238855 steps back again!

All participants will be invited to join Cransley’s Walking Events Facebook group for hints, tips, moral support and to share walking stories and progress.

Everyone completing the challenge will receive a special celebratory trophy from us.
