Debbie Grant (Fundraising Assistant)

‘Fundraising Superstar’ Debbie is the longest-standing member of the team, having been with us for over twelve years! During this time, she’s seen a lot of changes and is often asked to dig deep into her memory banks for historical snippets of information. A real craft-queen, she loves to spend her downtime getting arty and is a very talented painter.

Rubi Hussain (Finance Administrator)

‘Finance Whizz’ Rubi has been part of the fundraising team for over five years. She loves to play detective ensuring that incoming donations are recorded correctly and enjoys working with our incredible volunteers. A volunteer herself, she spends her spare time helping various local animal-welfare charities and looking after her extensive furry-family of six cats and seven dogs!

Jacqueline Cheung  (Marketing Manager)

‘Marketing Guru’ Jax worked for several high-profile consumer brands before moving across to the charity sector in 2018. She loves the challenge of working in a small team and enjoys seeing the difference her efforts make every day. Away from her desk, adventuring in the outdoors with her husband, young son and elderly Golden Retriever keep her busy!

Jenine Rees (Marketing Manager)

‘Marketing Queen’ Jenine brings 20 years of marketing experience from working on international, national and local brands. She loves the variety of work at Cransley and making a difference to such a worthwhile and important charity. As a recent “empty nester”, Jenine spends as much time as she can outdoors walking and cycling with her husband and looks forward to having a little canine companion in the near future!

Rebecca Cave (Marketing Coordinator)

‘Digital Dynamo' Rebecca, is our Social Media pro. Recently completing her professional qualification with The Chartered Institute of Marketing, she has a passion for people, innovation and imagination. Rebecca loves exploring to new destinations with her partner and spending time with her family and friends.

Louise Preedy (Community Fundraising Manager)

‘Fundraising Maestro’ Louise manages our Community fundraising including, schools and youth programmes, collections, in-memory giving as well as our Challenge Events programme. She’s experienced fundraising from all sides, having volunteered with the Scouts for five-years before kick-starting her career in the industry in 2013. High-flyer Louise loves to spend her downtime attending aerial classes and chilling out with her dog in the garden.

Ash Davies (Community Fundraiser)

‘Community Champion’ Ash is working with our corporate partners and within our community to lead events such as our open gardens programme and WoodfordStock.  Ash has a passion for enacting positive change, with experience of working in challenging and high-pressure roles across a diverse range of sectors. When he’s not out and about in the community he enjoys live music and visiting food & drink festivals and is slowly ticking off his bucket list of travel destinations.

Kate Ilott (Events Manager)

Kate has over 20 years of event planning experience, and has worked for charities, professional bodies and in the commercial sector. Kate joined the Cransley team in 2020, and is passionate about developing fundraising campaigns and developing events so that they are so much more than just a ticketed event! Outside of work, Kate enjoys family adventures in a touring caravan, and on a voluntarily basis runs a brownie unit.

Cassie the Cransley Crocodile (Hospice Mascot)

‘Chief Morale Officer’ Cassie first burst onto the scene at the 2018 Road Races and has been raring to go ever since. She loves to meet her younger supporters at our events and popping into schools to spread the word about the amazing work that we do. She loves nothing more than tucking into her favourite food (Fish) and enjoys having a wiggle and a dance at every opportunity!
