Each one of us is affected by the cost of living crisis. According to Hospice UK, some hospices are predicting a five-fold increase when considering the cost of energy, fuel, food and the cost of paying a fair wage to their brilliant staff.
The specialist, individual care and support delivered at Cransley Hospice and by the Hospice at Home community team is free 24 hours a day for seriously ill patients and their families.
We want people in our community to be confident knowing that should they, or someone close to them need the support of the incredible hospice team, the specialist care will be free and accessible when they need it.
It costs £755 per patient per day to provide expert care and support for each patient.
Our fundraising income is being impacted by the current crisis and we find ourselves with a huge gap to fill in order to maintain services at the current level. We are all feeling the effects of the cost of living crisis, but if you are in a position to help, please consider making a donation.

Matron, Jamie and his team tend to every need, doing whatever they can for patients to make the remaining time they have before they die, the best it can possibly be. They are there to support patients in every way, alleviating their pain, discomfort and anxiety, making them as comfortable as possible and helping to make lasting memories with those closest to them.
They help to ease the burden for families, putting people in touch with other groups and organisations if they need support in other ways.
