London to Paris Cycle 2022

Cycle from capital to capital in time to see the finish of the Tour de France!
Your 4 day adventure starts in London, cycling around 309 miles from London to Paris.
The route takes us through glorious English countryside as we cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel to Calais.
Once across the water, we cycle along the quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of Northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme.
A spectacular finish awaits as you reach the home stretch, around the Arc de Triomphe and along the Champs Elysées, before reaching the piece de resistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks our finish line.
The days in the saddle may be long but the sense of achievement you’ll feel crossing the finish line and the euphoric atmosphere as we celebrate our achievements in this magnificent capital, the saddle soreness soon wears off!
Day 1
Registration for the challenge early morning in Croydon and start cycling at 7am through Kent to Dover. Ferry to Calais. Distance – 90 miles
Day 2
Cycle from Calais to Arras through charming villages and along quiet country lanes. Distance – 77 miles
Day 3
Cycle from Arras to Compiegne passing numerous WWI memorials and monuments through the Region of the Somme. Distance – 75 miles
Day 4
Cycle to Paris, along the Champs-Élysées, round the Arc de Triomphe and finish overlooking the Eiffel Tower from the Champ de Mars. Celebratory meal. Distance – 70 miles
Day 5
The Tour de France will be reaching its climax today as it races through the streets of Paris. Ensure you grab your place on the Champs-Élysées to see some of the action before making your own way to Gare du Nord to catch the evening Eurostar to London where you will be re-united with your bicycle.
How does it help the Hospice?
When signing up with our event organiser Global Adventure for London to Paris Cycle you will need to pay a registration fee of £125.
You then have the option to:
‘Self-fund’ your adventure paying £820 – any fundraising you do during this time will go directly to supporting Cransley Hospice Trust. Alternatively, you can ‘Commit to Raise’ £1640 through fundraising – this can be sponsorship, organising an event like a cake sale or a combination of both. As a thank you for raising £1640 or more Cransley Hospice Trust will cover the cost of your place.

Please note, this is a complex itinerary and subject to change.
Flexible and Secure Terms: In conjunction with the Global Adventure Travel with Confidence Policy, all new bookings for this challenge have the option to transfer for free to another Global Adventure challenge up to 56 days before departure. No questions asked – if for whatever reason you can’t or don’t want to travel on your original date, Global Adventure will happily transfer you.
