Hospice Care Week

  • 8th October 2018

8th – 14th October 2018

Hospice Care Week is an annual week of activity to raise the visibility of Hospice Care in the UK. Every year, Cransley Hospice holds a week of celebration, reflection and fundraising activities to raise awareness of the Hospice in the local community and to encourage new supporters and volunteers to join the #CransleyCrew

This year’s theme is ‘I Heart My Hospice’ and we have a fantastic selection of activities for you to support, including the suggestions below:

We’re asking local knitters to get crafty and to help us create 150 knitted hearts – to represent the average number of patients we help with our services EVERY MONTH! Whether you can just manage one heart or can help us with more, we’d really value your contributions! These will be used to create a beautiful display in our shop window.

We’re also asking local schools, community groups and businesses to ‘Go Green for Cransley!’ Wear something green during Hospice Care Week and make a donation to Cransley Hospice, it’s as simple as that!

And for anyone feeling particularly ambitious, we’d love it if you’d consider doing your own coffee morning, quiz night or local event to help us raise the profile of Cransley Hospice in our community and raise some of the £1.4 million per year that we need to provide our full range of services.

More details will be announced on our Facebook page over the coming weeks. You can also email info@cransleyhospice.org.uk or call 01536 452 423 to speak to one of our fundraising team about how you can help.

Thank you for your on-going support!
