This year we are launching our Cransley Hospice Trust Volunteer Awards. We have created these awards to recognise the outstanding contribution that our volunteers make to Cransley Hospice Trust. We have over 100 volunteers – incredible people who are committed to sharing their passion, skills and time.

SPIRIT OF CRANSLEY AWARD

This award is for an individual who embodies the values of the Trust and
demonstrates this in the contribution that they make to their volunteering,
irrespective of where in the Trust they volunteer.

Thus, they demonstrate responsibility in relation to their contribution, dependably attending regularly on their agreed hours, and always offering to undertake extra duties when required.

They always act with integrity, in relation to any decisions that they make and in their interactions with others, regularly demonstrating fair and ethical decisions when in a position to do so.

COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

This award is for a volunteer who makes an outstanding contribution to any role that results in raising funds for the Trust. Thus, it could involve a volunteer who works in Retail, Events, as a Speaker or a Community Fundraiser.

The recipient of this award will demonstrate their willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ to support fundraising. It might be because they show great flexibility in supporting the many and varied tasks we have in raising funds or it may be the special level of support they have provided when volunteering in the areas of fundraising the Trust undertakes.
