Come and join us at the Tree of Lights Service 2022

We’re thrilled to be able to welcome you once again to our Tree of Lights Service after two years of restrictions.

There will be readings and carols, along with live music from the Salvation Army band and special guests. Giving you a chance to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. It really will be a very special evening.

Where is it?

The event will be held in front of the Cransley Hospice Trust Fundraising Office at St Mary’s Hospital, London Road, Kettering, NN15 7PW.

How long is the service?

The service will begin at 6.30pm and we anticipate it will last around 30-45mins. We suggest you arrive a little before to give yourself time to enjoy a warm drink and a mince pie.

There will be other special items available to purchase on the night, so please come and see us in the office.

Parking

Please be aware that there will not be any parking available on the St Mary’s Hospital site or at Cransley Hospice. However, you are able to park at the Cornmarket Hall car park a short walk away, and there will be additional overflow parking available at Kettering Rugby Club.

We have a limited number of disabled parking spaces available on the St Mary’s Hospital site. Please enter through the Piper’s Hill entrance and speak to one of the volunteer marshals, they will direct Blue Badge holders to the allotted parking.

Limited spaces available

As the Tree of Lights Service is classed as an outdoor event with music, we are only able to accept 499 people to this event to comply with the license agreement. Once we have reached capacity, we will not be able to allow entrance to the service.

We will also be filming the event and it will be available to watch online on Sunday 11th December at 6pm on the Cransley Hospice Trust Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Refreshments

We’re delighted to be able to offer refreshments (including some very tasty mince pies!) – so please come along to the Cransley Hospice Trust Fundraising Office.

Toilets

There are a small number of toilet facilities available in the Cransley Hospice Trust Fundraising Office, however these are limited.

In case of bad weather

In the event of adverse weather conditions on the evening, we regret that we may need to cancel the event for safety reasons. But hopefully the weather will be shining on our Tree of Lights this year!

Your donations really matter…

Now, more than ever, we are reliant on your generosity to ensure that other families in need receive the help and care they deserve. We hope you will join us in remembering loved ones and reflecting together at this year’s Cransley Hospice Trust Tree of Lights Service on Sunday 4th December.

To make a donation in memory, call the office on 03000 274 040.
