Reflect together at Lanterns at the Lakes

January 2019
This remembrance event is a fully-accessible, one-mile walk at sunset around the picturesque Stanwick Lakes. There will be a chance to come together and reflect on those we have loved and lost, while raising money for Cransley Hospice.
The walk begins at 5pm at the Stanwick Lakes Visitors Centre and we will take a gentle and reflective walk around the lake with our lanterns. There will be a poignant, inclusive service during the walk, to allow us to cherish special memories of those who are no longer with us and to celebrate the happy memories we hold of them. Following the walk, we will congregate in the Visitors Centre to warm up with hot drinks (not included) and to share photos and stories on our ‘memory tree.’
Tickets are just £10 for adults and £5 for children, both ticket types also include a lantern. Under 3’s are free of charge (with no lantern included). Car Parking is free of charge for ticket holders only.
Fundraising for this event is actively encouraged and the money raised will enable us to provide compassionate care to more local people at the end of their lives. We have had a phenomenal response to this very special event already and we are so excited to welcome all of our supporters to Stanwick Lakes in March.
