Raising money for Cransley Hospice whilst you Stay Safe and Stay Home
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks and for many of us our life has changed beyond what we had ever imagined, so we want to share a few easy ways that you can still support Cransley Hospice by raising money whilst you Stay Safe and Stay Home.
In just two short weeks, restaurants, bars, clubs, schools have all closed, major events cancelled or postponed. We’re self-isolating, social distancing and on lock down to halt the spread of this rampant virus. All this is happening, whilst our team of staff at Cransley Hospice keep going. They keep providing the incredible care and support needed by patients with life-limiting illnesses whether they’re in the Hospice or in their own home.
The coronavirus is having a huge impact on all charities including Cransley Hospice. On March 26th the Hospice had to close its doors to all but essential visitors to protect staff and patients. Cransley Hospice is well known for the outstanding service that it provides to patients and families and this service costs roughly £4000 per day. 30% of this needs to be raised through fundraising.
With social distancing and lock down being the order of the day we have had to postpone some of our best fundraising events which raise vital funds to support the hospice. So that we are still able to provide the level or support and care needed, we have found some easy ways that you, friends and family can get involved to support Cransley Hospice from the comfort of your home!
