TikTok sensation singer-songwriter, Mae Stephens will be one of three judges at “SING” for Cransley in March

Mae shot to fame in a matter of days when her song “If We Ever Broke Up” became a TikTok sensation and is now the world’s second most popular song on TikTok for 2023.    The former pupil from Meadowside Primary School in Burton Latimer had all her dreams come true when she performed on the Lonely Hearts Stage at Glastonbury, an experience she said “was not easily forgotten”.

Mae Stephens will join an experienced lineup of judges for the charity competition “SING” which will take place at the Corby Cube Theatre on 3rd March; Swing Singer, Nigel Adaire, and tenor Joshua Daniels complete the judging panel.

For anyone whose dream is to perform their favourite West End musical song on stage, and receive professional coaching, it’s not too late to sign up to “SING” for Cransley.  There are a few spaces left and an opportunity to release your inner diva on stage, in front of a live audience, family and friends in March.

Sarah Caldwell, Community Fundraiser-Events said “We’ve still got a couple of spaces for the event, so anyone who loves West End musicals and fancies SINGing their hearts out, “and all that Jazz” get in touch via the Cransley Hospice Trust website as soon as possible. We’re looking for groups of 2-15 people, you don’t need any previous experience, just a passion to “SING”!”

Each group will be hitting the high notes after receiving a bonus of 6 weeks of expert vocal coaching before their performance on the night.

Cransley Hospice Trust aims to raise £15,000 from the event to support patients living with a life-limiting illness in North Northamptonshire, and their families. It costs around £755 per day to look after a patient at the hospice, a vital resource for palliative and end-of-life patients in North Northamptonshire.
