Going potty for Cransley Hospice Trust

Louise Crookenden Johnson supports Cransley Hospice Trust in the Great Pottery and Print Fair, 5th-6th March.

Local Northamptonshire potter and frequent supporter of Cransley Hospice Trust will be taking part in The Great Charity Pot and Print Fair which takes place online on the 5th – 6th of March.

Louise Crookenden Johnson said “This is a charity close to my heart as they provide amazing support to members of our community and recently commissioned me to make ‘comfort pebbles’ to support people at the end of life and their families through tough times.  I am offering this hand-thrown and majolica bowl. This new design is the first of its kind featuring my faithful signature Blackbird and strawberries in a fresh spring design.

“I am running a charity prize draw for the bowl, all of the money raised will go to Cransley Hospice Trust, just down the road from my pottery, in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Louise has also produced and hand-painted the most precious ‘Comfort Pebbles’ as part of the Memory Box project for the Charity, helping children and young adults to cope with bereavement.
