Tree of Lights 2019

  • 1st December 2019

Cransley Hospice Trust are delighted to invite you to their annual Tree of Lights service on Sunday 1st December 2019 from 6.30pm – 8.00pm. The event is free to attend.

The Tree of Lights is a reflective service, with readings, carols and music, allowing people of all ages and faiths to remember and reflect together at this special time of year.

The lights on the tree are dedicated to greatly-missed friends and family-members and they shine brightly throughout the festive season until the Twelfth Night on the 5th January.

Last year, to mark the 20th Anniversary year of Cransley Hospice, we moved our service to the St Mary’s Hospital site in Kettering, where our Hospice is based and held our ceremony in front of the Cransley Hospice Fundraising Office. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. People felt that holding the Tree of Lights in this poignant location really enabled our community to come together in remembrance of those who are no longer with us, whether they received care from Cransley Hospice or not, so we really do hope that you feel able to join us this year.

Our incredible clinical team provide outstanding compassionate care to local people and their families each year which is only possible with your on-going support. We hope that by attending this year’s Tree of Lights event, you will receive comfort at what can be an emotional time of year, while also enabling Cransley Hospice to continue to help other families in need.

We look forward to warmly welcoming all of our supporters to join us on this magical evening.
