“Robins appear when loved ones are near”

The flock of 500 robins will be displayed at Chester House from the 17th to the 25th of June 2023.

The robin has been chosen for this special in-memory exhibition as many people believe that when they see a robin it is a sign that a loved one who has died is passing or close by.

The robins are bird feeders and are available to pre-order and purchase from our online shop for £25. Anyone purchasing a robin will be invited to a special unveiling of the exhibition on Friday 16th June and will get to take their robin home to put into their own garden or window box after the exhibition.

You can find out more about the special robins and how they have been lovingly crafted by local artisan potter, Louise Crookenden-Johnson HERE.

Please check the Chester House website for parking directions and opening times.
