Hadrian’s Wall Charity Trek Challenge 2021

This most ancient of charity treks will take you from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia, encompassing some of the most visited and fascinating ruins.

Hadrian’s Wall was built in AD122 on the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and stretched from the East to West coasts of Britain, from Bowness on Solway in the West to Wallsend in the East. It is the most remarkable Roman monument in the country and quite unique throughout the former Empire. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

The challenging walk cuts through the Northumberland National Park with the most stunning backdrop and history.

How does it help the Hospice?

When signing up with our event organiser Global Adventure for Hadrian’s Wall Trek you will need to pay a registration fee of £75.

You then have the option to:

‘Self fund’ your adventure paying £275 – any fundraising you do during this time will go directly to supporting Cransley Hospice. Alternatively you can ‘Commit to Raise’ £550 through fundraising – this can be sponsorship, organising an event like a cake sale or a combination of both. As a thank you for raising £550 or more Cransley Hospice will cover the cost of your place.
