Enjoying A Cuppa for Cransley at Elm Bank Care Home

We were delighted to be invited along to the Brighter Kind Elm Bank Care Home in Kettering on Friday 7th December for their ‘Cuppa for Cransley’ festive coffee morning.

January 2019

Residents and their guests showed up to enjoy the fabulous cakes and refreshments that were on offer and the fantastic staff members also dropped by to indulge and show their support (many of them dressed in their Christmas finest!)

There was a huge variety of delicious cakes on offer, all of which were baked in-house by the talented kitchen team – which ensured that the event was a popular one! Donations were made by those who joined us for the experience, which will be incredibly valuable in enabling us to fund the outstanding care of local people at the end of their lives.

After the event, Community Fundraiser Mary Hollands and Marketing Manager Jacqueline Cheung were taken on a tour of the incredible facilities available at Elm Bank and were privileged to meet with some of the residents who live there. It was wonderful for us to be able to dispel some of the myths about hospice care and raise awareness of the work we do in the community.

We’re really grateful to Brighter Kind Elm Bank Care Home for their support of our ‘Cuppa for Cransley’ campaign and hope to work with the fantastic team there again soon.
