Hospice Care Week, 5th – 11th October

To celebrate Hospice Care Week 2020 we will be sending a special THANK YOU, gifting a small packet of Lupin seeds to everyone that donates between the 5th and 11th October.

This week is Hospice Care Week!

To express the heartfelt gratitude of the team in these uncertain times, we will be sending a pack of Lupin seeds to each person that makes a donation, however big or small between the 5th and 11th October. Donations can be made here

Lupin seeds have specifically been chosen as the Lupin flowers represent imagination, admiration, and overall happiness and are said to bring energy and inner strength to aid recovery from trauma. We hope that the Lupin flowers will help donors to reflect and remember their loved ones when they blossom in the spring and summer each year, and as a perennial flower, they will come back year after year.

Over the past few months, everyone has had to make changes and adjustments to their lives.  We have got used to a new way of working and we miss working with and seeing the welcoming faces of many of our volunteers! However,  we have been humbled and delighted by the ongoing support of the Cransley community who have continued to come up with fun ways to keep fundraising; whether supporting our virtual events or doing their own thing, baking, running, cycling, singing or gardening everyone has been amazing!

If you would like to support Cransley Hospice you can set up a regular donation which helps the hospice plan for the future of specialist end of life care for the community of North Northamptonshire, contact the fundraising office info@cransleyhospice.org.uk or call 01536452423, alternatively you can make a one-off donation via the website and if you donate between the 5th and 11th you’ll receive a special pack of Lupin seeds as our thank you to you!
