25th anniversary in-memory art installation

“Robins appear when loved ones are near”
To celebrate 25 years of Cransley Hospice, we have partnered with local artisan potter, Louise Crookenden-Johnson, who has hand-crafted 500 unique clay robins. These robins will create an in-memory art installation at Chester House Estate on 16th June 2023.
The friendly robin has been chosen specifically for the installation, as many believe that when they see one, it is a sign that a missed loved one is close by. The in-memory robins are perched on stakes, each one with a hollow back for bird seeds, enabling you to attract more friendly feathered friends to visit your garden.
Each robin is unique, with a Cransley heart stamped on its chest and a limited edition number. They would make the perfect addition to any garden, reminding you of your loved ones, bringing joy to your borders, window boxes and plant pots. The clay birds are fired at 1200 degrees, frostproofing them for colder weather and are made with two small holes at the base to allow rainwater to drain away.
There are only 500 Robins, we would therefore encourage you to pre-order at the earliest opportunity.
To purchase and reserve a robin:
The handcrafted robins can be purchased via our online shop for £25 and we ask that you consider leaving a donation to help us raise as much money as possible in this 25th year. You can also pre-order your Robin by calling the friendly fundraising team on 03000 274040.
The robins also make a wonderful gift and can be purchased with a gift certificate.
