Walk the Cransley Way

  • 1st - 30th April 2021
  • 05:00 am - 23:00 pm

Join us for an adventure along the Cransley Way!

Between the 1st and 30th April, we would love it if you joined our nurses (virtually from wherever you are) to walk along The Cransley Way and to see how far you can get.

In just a few days a nurse can walk the equivalent distance of climbing Mount Snowdon and in two weeks, around 50 miles, that’s twice the distance of the Hadrian’s Wall Trek and the same distance as one of the Cycle for Cransley Routes!

If walking’s not your thing and you prefer a hop, skip, run or a cycle we won’t be stopping you! However you choose to travel, we’ll be taking you on an adventure, to the summit of Snowdon, along the historic Hadrian’s Wall and across the beautiful Brecon Beacons!

We know that getting outside is good for us, physically and mentally. Whether it’s a walk, a jog around your local park or a few laps of the garden, the health benefits are HUGE, so we’re here to put a spring in your step!

Set your own goal along the Cransley Way and register your place today!

The Cransley Way is 100 miles long which is the average distance that one of our nurses will walk in a month.  You don’t have to do the full 100 miles – Phew!  Just set yourself a goal and try to raise £120 or more for Cransley hospice – that’s the average cost of a nurses day shift.

We’ve made fundraising easier for you!

Once you’ve registered and let us know what your goal is we’ll send you a downloadable pack of postcards to use on your social channels.  When you reach each point along the Cransley Way you post your postcard onto your social channels to let your friends, family and colleagues know how well you’re doing and that you’ve made it to your next milestone – a simple way to remind them about what you are doing and why you’re doing it!

Everyone completing their challenge will receive a special Cransley Hospice celebratory TROPHY.

So, let’s do it – Let’s Walk the Cransley Way!
