Flourishing Fivers
Flourishing Fivers is a fundraising initiative in conjunction with local schools. Year 8 students are allocated £5.00 and asked to try and at least double that amount. This can be achieved by a number of innovations.
Called “Flourishing Fivers”.Each student entering the initiative is allocated £5. The student is then asked to try and at least double that amount. This can be achieved by a number of innovations. The money could be used to make items to sell such as cakes or crafts. It could be used to advertise a service such as dog walking or babysitting. A group of children could amalgamate their money to organize a bigger event such as a disco or jumble sale. The list is endless and with a little imagination, £5 could bring in substantial and much needed money for the local Hospice, every penny of which will be used directly for the comfort of the patients in our care. One child in a scheme such as this in another part of the country turned £5 into over £1,000! How he did so would be telling but let your child use his or her enterprise initiative and surprise you. Parachute Jumps
How would you like to jump from an aircraft at over 2 miles high, experiencing freefall whilst
raising funds for Cransley Hospice in such a memorable way.

Hold a Donate Don't Dump Day
On a date you decide you will be able to bring all your unwanted clothes to your work place or school at the beginning of the day and a designated vehicle will take them away. Download a flyer for more details.
Market Harborough Building Society Savings Account
Opening a MHBS Cransley Hospice Savings Account will help Cransley Hospice because 1% of the average balance in the account will be donated to the hospice every year. This donation will be made by the Society, so it will NOT reduce the balance on your account or the amount of interest you are paid.
£5,830.88 has been raised in interest alone from these accounts over the last year.
