  • Response to News Article in Local Newspapers

We are aware that a Facebook Page called 'Save Cransley Hospice' has been set up in Response to the recent article in the local press. We would like to make it clear that this is not an official Cransley Hospice Facebook Page and has been set up independently. However we are very grateful for all of the support and lovely messages that this site is generating and we will endeavour to engage with posts which require a response on the site where possible. Please do contact the Fundraising Team on 01536 527407 for any Fundraising issues or post on this site. We also have no involvement with the petition that is being generated and advise that you visit the site in question. A statement concerning the News article follows: To make clear commissioners are not looking to reduce the current services provided by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust at Cransley Hospice but to enhance them through a transformative programme of work. This work has to be delivered within a difficult financial situation for all NHS organisations in the county and we will be looking at how we ensure the services at the hospices are continued while ensuring we can deliver more for less money. No decisions have been made and we are currently working with NHFT and the Trustees of the Hospices to agree a proposed strategy. Once ready we will be asking the public for their views and suggestions. Cransley Hospice fundraising activities continue and you can contact the team on 01536 527407 or by email: diana.patrick@nhft.nhs.uk
