Patient facilities
TV/Radio.
Individual televisions with remote control and headphones are provided. Radio/CD player can be provided if requested. Sky satellite TV is available at the hospice.
Telephones
Cransley Hospice has a portable hand phone for patient’s incoming calls. When the call is received the phone is taken to the patient. Patients and visitors using mobile phones are requested to do so from the reception area, or dayroom only.
Meals
There are a variety of meals available from the menu. Special dietary requirements are catered for. The hospice can arrange for a dietician to visit and discuss particular needs if a patient would like that. “Cocktail drinks”, made from fruit flavoured supplements are available if a patients appetite is poor or if a patient has difficulty eating normal meals.
Lounge/Day Room
Cransley Hospice has its own lounge for the use of patients and their visitors. The room has facilities for visitors to make themselves a drink or food that they have brought in.
Newspapers
Newspapers may be ordered on a daily basis.
Complementary Therapy
Cransley Hospice has a volunteer who comes once a week who is able to undertake a range of complementary therapies.

Library
There is a supply of reading books available. CD’s and DVD’s are also obtainable.
“Café Vie”
There is a canteen “Café Vie” located within the main building of St Marys Hospital offering hot meals and various cold snacks, sandwiches etc.
Smoking
Cransley Hospice and the surrounding St Mary’s Hospital site are “ No smoking” areas.
Parking
Parking is available at Cransley Hospice and the surrounding St Mary’s site. All parking is free.

Cransley Hospice is situated in the grounds of St Mary’s Hospital which can be accessed from London Road. Access is also available from Pipers Hill Road.
Buses
The bus stops are outside the entrances on London Road and Pipers Hill Road. There are regular buses running to/from Kettering town centre every 15-20 minutes.
